# About

Hello! I'm Paul, a builder operating at the intersection of modern aesthetic engineering and highly functional backend mechanics. This platform, Artefacts, serves as my open sandbox (all thoughts and opinions remain strictly *my own*).

My core work revolves around structural data organisation, bespoke tool-making, agentic AI, hardware design and manufacturing, and autonomous systems architecture. In my design practice, I favour brutalist frontend deployments: raw, high-contrast typography, and dense layouts that strip away redundant chrome to prioritise absolute visual *clarity*.

Away from the screen, my engineering mindset extends into photography and Eurorack modular synthesis. I approach my rack as an extension of systems architecture, physical programming through control voltage. I gravitate towards dense, highly functional utility modules, granular synthesis, generative sequencing, and complex modulation routing. Whether designing autonomous sonic environments or dialling in raw, industrial textures, I appreciate tactile, screenless hardware that perfectly mirrors my digital aesthetic: function-first, logically structured, and *deeply immersive*.
